Downloading

Release 1.0 of JCCTray is available on Windows and Linux, and you can download it from here

Installing

Download the appropriate version of JCCTray that suits your requirements.

The preferred way to install on windows is to install using the JCCTray setup file. This ensures that JCCTray is installed in the startup folder, and there is a proper uninstaller in place to uninstall JCCTray.

If you are more of a zip file enthusiast then you can unzip jcctray-<VERSION>_win32.zip to a location of your choice and execute jcctray.cmd from there.

On linux platforms:

# tar -zxvf jcctray-<VERSION>_linux_gtk_x86.tar.gz # or # tar -zxvf jcctray-<VERSION>_linux_gtk_x86_64.tar.gz on 64 bit versions
# cd jcctray-<VERSION>_linux_gtk_x86 # or # cd jcctray-<VERSION>_linux_gtk_x86_64 on 64 bit versions
# ./jcctray

Uninstalling

If you uninstalled using the windows installer, then you should be able to uninstall by navigating to the appropriate JCCTray start menu and clicking on uninstall. If you did not install a startup menu icon, you can still uninstall JCCTray using the add/remove icon in windows control panel.

Note This does not remove the JCCTray settings (jcctray.xml) that are saved in the location where you installed JCCTray.

If you installed using a zip file, then you can uninstall JCCTray by deleting the folder where you installed JCCTray.

On Linux you can uninstall by removing the folder where you installed JCCtray.
